Software Engineer

Our team in Oklahoma City develops Web Based performance support applications such as Learning Management Systems, web conferencing software and related products. The development stack we use includes C#, Blazor, Razor, MS MVC, Nhibernate, Jquery and many other cutting-edge technologies and programming languages. We utilize many agile methods and practices such as test-driven development, timeboxed sprints, continuous integration and more.

The selected candidate must reside in Oklahoma. Our team works from home a majority of the time and must have access to a modern PC and broadband internet.

Duties

You must be able to work in a team environment and be able to manage your time working from home.

  1. Designs Unit Tests as part of Test-Driven Development.
  2. Participates in the design and development of Object-Oriented software solutions.
  3. Coordinates the construction and maintenance of an internet-based learning management platform and assists in planning for future growth.
  4. Analyzes user needs, and designs, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
  5. Develops build and deployment scripts using current build systems.
  6. Develops/analyzes algorithms that solve programmatic problems.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related subject;
  2. Demonstrated experience with general programming and web application programming using the software development process;
  3. Experience developing software and testing software; and
  4. Ability to demonstrate a broad knowledge of and experience using computer systems and Microsoft technologies.
  5. Must have a reliable internet connection at home

Software QA / Tester

Duties

  1. Develops test cases to ensure that enhancements, features and bug fixes have been successfully implemented.
  2. Uses software testing tools to automate the execution of functional tests.
  3. Works with testers, designers, developers, and customers throughout development process.
  4. Participates in release planning, iteration planning, iteration review, and retrospectives.
  5. Implements application designs, creates queries, and scripts in multiple automated testing environments.
  6. Tests product software applications and identifies software defects using automated and manual testing.
  7. Uses web-based tracking software and case management software.
  8. Creates and implements test cases.
  9. Records and documents test results and compares to expected results.
  10. Reports defects and escalates issues.
  11. Conducts/Participates in test case reviews.
  12. Verifies specific action or function of code.
  13. Edits and supports product documentation for configuration and users.
  14. Helps customer service through call escalation and conducts training.

Qualifications

  1. Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in computer science, computer information systems, or related fields and 2+ years experience OR Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 1+ years experience.
